On the subject of oil...

Had a discussion with Jim

http://anaverageamericanpatriot.blogspot.com/

the other day and that's what he replied:

"Sarah, Bush was having meetings with the Taliban in Crawford and in the White House, when they finally refused the pipeline 10 days later 9/11 "happened" and Bush attacked them as promised."

Can't say that he's wrong , nor that it's the first time that I've heard this. But the real reasons lie deeper than that.

The endgame is not at all about some fossil fuel which nobody really wants, nor needs... but about the eternal issue as to how a tiny percentage of us can get all the rest under complete control!

Alright, I admit, here and now they're making big bucks on anything filthy, the war in the middle east has bankrupted the States, but made Bush and his administration even richer, since they've just got their sticky fingers on anything dirty - from oil, over weapons to pharma industry.

But while you grieve about what weapons can do, imagine what an invisible conquest over human rights would do to each and everyone of us. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying it's alright, what has happened so far. Neither am I excusing or justifying anything. But I am very much pointing to their real enterprise and their ultimate reason for doing so.

While wars are on, journalists got unlimited access to everything in theater, rumors are getting spread, quarrels and upsets created through misrepresentation - with the casualties not only being the wounded and dead on the battlefield, but most of all the truth, which has died right in the beginning... Well would you agree that such a scenery creates a wonderful hazy maze in which they can hide anything they want to? And then there is this wonderful tool called "fear" that you use to scare the public with. - Get them bit by bit to agree with all the dangers until we finally have cameras on every street corner, satellites zooming in the most remote places, mobile phone, internet traffic and just about anything you can imagine under surveillance.

Passports will soon consist of a simple, tiny microchip under our skin, including medical and criminal records, of course, and any sort of black listing...

But the best thing is the medical control. There where people are asking for help, they're really easy to control. Have all kids scanned for mental and physical risks and enforce prophylactic treatment until they almost drop dead but are still alive enough to be held hostage a whole life long!

Education is meant to set people free. But no freedom can occur through enforced ideas and when freedom of speech isn't also a social right, that will be recognized and its practice be tolerated everywhere in society. Education has in fact hardly ever been something that did set people free. Of course you could to some degree gain economical freedom, by swallowing approved BS until they would let you have your degree, BUT unless you had signed up for parrot-school this isn't an education that's worth anything, because it didn't leave room for the individual to come up with his own realizations and ideas. So all that long education-business that's going on now, creates long-term slaves, that are kept in a cornered position, off the market and in a low financial condition. In other words these people can not really cause anything, because their lack of time and funding doesn't allow it, they're pretty much effect, plus they have to formally agree with a huge amount of data which doesn't make sense, but which they have to learn by heart in order to get out of the trap. I don't know about you folks, but to me this is both brain wash, extortion and deprivation of freedom.

Anyway, as for oil, who does really need it?! Well alright the Bushies do still want to make a buck or two on it, since their greed knows no end, but anyone who's ever heard what hydrogen or even solar and wind energy can do, knows that these are not only cleaner and safer alternatives, but that technology has already advanced that much that we could solve all our energy problems with them - Today!

Here is an e-mail which I received this morning and if you wonder what you can do to stop a slave state from coming into existence, read what comes after it:

Gubmint and How Gubmint Works
Once upon a time the government had a vast scrap yard in the middle of a desert.
Congress said, "Someone may steal from it at night." So
they created a night watchman position and hired a person for the job.

Then Congress said, "How does the watchman do his job without
instruction?" So they created a planning department and hired two
people, one person to write the instructions, and one person to do
time studies.

Then Congress said, "How will we know the night watchman is doing the
tasks correctly?" So they created a Quality Control department and
hired two people. One to do the studies and one to write the reports.
Then Congress said, "How are these people going to get paid?" So They
created the following positions, a time keeper, and a payroll officer,
Then hired two people.
Then Congress said, "Who will be accountable for all of these people?"
So they created an administrative section and hired three people, an
Administrative Officer, Assistant Administrative Officer, and a Legal
Secretary.
Then Congress said, "We have had this command in operation for one
Year and we are $18,000 over budget, we must cutback overall cost."
So they laid off the night watchman.
NOW slowly, let it sink in.
Quietly, we go like sheep to slaughter.
Does anybody remember the reason given for the establishment of
the DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY.... during the Carter Administration?
Anybody?
Anything?
No?
Didn't think so!
Bottom line. We've spent several hundred billion dollars in support of
an agency...the reason for which not one person who reads this can remember!
Ready??

It was very simple...and at the time, everybody thought it very appropriate.
The Department of Energy was instituted on 8-04-1977.
TO LESSEN OUR DEPENDENCE ON FOREIGN OIL.
Hey, pretty efficient, huh???
AND NOW IT'S 2009 -- 32 YEARS LATER -- AND THE BUDGET FOR THIS "NECESSARY" DEPARTMENT IS AT $24.2 BILLION A YEAR. THEY HAVE 16,000 FEDERAL EMPLOYEES AND APPROXIMATELY 100,000 CONTRACT EMPLOYEES; AND LOOK AT THE JOB THEY HAVE DONE! THIS IS WHERE YOU SLAP YOUR FOREHEAD AND SAY, "WHAT WAS I THINKING?"
Ah, yes -- good ole bureaucracy.
AND, NOW, WE ARE GOING TO TURN THE BANKING SYSTEM, HEALTH CARE, AND THE AUTO INDUSTRY OVER TO THE SAME GOVERNMENT?
HELLOOO! Anybody Home?

Regarding a slave state... the most dangerous part is where they have access to a person's mental and physical heath. Health screening and psychiatric treatment are already conducted in such a way today, that the covertness and evil of what actually is happening to the individual patient are something beyond believe, something that most people can't foresee, neither belief afterwards. But it's there and it's the greatest threat that mankind faces today, not global warming, not nuclear bombs... it is those who sneak in to help the weak and who make us believe that we need surveillance and guidiance to manage our daily tasks.
So if you want to do something about that to stop big brother watching you everywhere, then you might be interested in the following:

Your Immediate Action Needed!
Federal Health Bill Pushes Psycho/Pharmaceutical Agenda, Could Come to a Vote This Week
Please make your voice heard in Washington. Call, fax, or e-mail your US Representative today and tell them to vote NO
on the Health Care bill. .

To find your Representative and get their contact information, go to:
http://www.congress.org/congressorg/directory/congdir.tt (enter your zip code).
You can also call the U.S. Capitol Switchboard at (202) 224-3121.
Here are some examples of what's in the bill:

The Mothers Act
You are probably familiar with the Mothers Act. It expands treatment for postpartum conditions. It also calls for the development of "improved screening and diagnostic techniques" while failing to ensure those charged with the development of these techniques are free from conflicts of interest. We've all heard of Andrea Yates, the mother who after taking a combination of antidepressants and antipsychotic drugs, drowned her kids. The last thing we want is legislation that creates a whole new generation of such tragedies. (Section 2529, Page 1418)

Mental Health Parity
This makes your insurance pay for psychiatric disorders on a par with physical illnesses. Imagine having the same coverage for inpatient psych hospitalization as you do for cancer. Psychiatric patients are traditionally "cured" when the insurance money runs out. Under this bill, it would never run out. The bill could potentially cover all 374 disorders in psychiatry's billing bible, the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual. It could cover everything from hyper-religiosity to arithmetic disorder. (Section 214, Page 100)

School Based Health Clinics
The bill includes funding for School Based Health Clinics that will include subjective psychiatric mental health screening (called mental health assessments) of children, and "referral to a continuum of services including emergency psychiatric care, community support programs, inpatient care, and outpatient programs" as part of their "comprehensive primary health services." This is a direct feeder line from our schools to the psycho/pharmaceutical industry. (Section 2511, Page 1352)

It's obvious that the psycho/pharmaceutical agenda is at full play in this bill.

Act now!
House leaders could be bringing the bill up for a vote
as early as this Friday, in hopes of passing the bill
before the November 11, Veterans Day holiday.

CONGRATULATIONS Mr. President

I received the following email this afternoon. I know I am not the only one. I am very proud that our President is being recognized for his efforts to bring some sanity back to the political arena.

Jack --

This morning, Michelle and I awoke to some surprising and humbling news. At 6 a.m., we received word that I'd been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for 2009.

To be honest, I do not feel that I deserve to be in the company of so many of the transformative figures who've been honored by this prize -- men and women who've inspired me and inspired the entire world through their courageous pursuit of peace.

But I also know that throughout history the Nobel Peace Prize has not just been used to honor specific achievement; it's also been used as a means to give momentum to a set of causes.

That is why I've said that I will accept this award as a call to action, a call for all nations and all peoples to confront the common challenges of the 21st century. These challenges won't all be met during my presidency, or even my lifetime. But I know these challenges can be met so long as it's recognized that they will not be met by one person or one nation alone.

This award -- and the call to action that comes with it -- does not belong simply to me or my administration; it belongs to all people around the world who have fought for justice and for peace. And most of all, it belongs to you, the men and women of America, who have dared to hope and have worked so hard to make our world a little better.

So today we humbly recommit to the important work that we've begun together. I'm grateful that you've stood with me thus far, and I'm honored to continue our vital work in the years to come.

Thank you,

President Barack Obama

Hope this makes you smile.

Thanks, Vern.

I don't care if you lick windows,
take the special bus or
occasionally pee on yourself.

You hang in there, sunshine – you're friggin' special.

Every sixty seconds you spend angry, upset or mad,
is a full minute of happiness you'll never get back.

Today's Message of the Day is:
Life is short,
Break the rules,
Forgive quickly,
Kiss slowly,
Love truly,
Laugh uncontrollably,
And never regret anything that made you smile.

Life may not be the party we hoped for,
but while we're here, we should dance.

Good things come in wine glasses!

Thanks, Vern. Excellent advice.

To my friends who enjoy a glass of wine...
And those who don't and are always

seen with a bottle of water in their hand.

As Ben Franklin said:

In wine there is wisdom,
In beer there is freedom,
In water there is bacteria.

In a number of carefully controlled trials,

Scientists have demonstrated that if we drink

1 litre of water each day,

At the end of the year we would have absorbed

More than 1 kilo of Escherichia coli, (E. Coli) - bacteria

Found in faeces.

In other words, we are consuming 1 kilo of poop..

However,

We do NOT run that risk when drinking wine & beer

(or tequila, rum, whiskey or other liquor)

Because alcohol has to go through a purification process

Of boiling, filtering and/or fermenting.

Remember:
Water = Poop,
Wine = Health
.
Therefore, it's better to drink wine and talk stupid,
Than to drink water and be full of shit
.

There is no need to thank me for this valuable information:

I'm doing it as a public service!

How much do you make?

Thanks, Gail L.

* * The dinner guests were sitting around the table
discussing life. One man, a CEO, decided to explain the problem with education. He argued, 'What's a kid going to learn from someone who decided his best option in life was to become a teacher?'

He reminded the other dinner guests what they say about teachers: 'Those who can, do. Those who can't, teach.'

To emphasize his point he said to another guest; 'You're a teacher, Ned. Be honest. What do you make?'

Ned, who had a reputation for honesty and frankness replied, 'You want to know what I make? (He paused for a second, then began...)

'Well, I make kids work harder than they ever thought they could.

I make a C+ feel like the Congressional Medal of Honor.

I make kids sit through 40 minutes of class time when their parents can't make them sit for 5 without an I Pod, Game Cube or movie rental.

You want to know what I make?' (he paused again and looked at each and every person at the table.)

''I make kids wonder.

I make them question.

I make them apologize and mean it.

I make them have respect and take responsibility for their actions.

I teach them to write and then I make them write. Keyboarding isn't everything.

I make them read, read, read.

I make them show all their work in math. They use their God-given brain, not the man-made calculator.

I make my students from other countries learn everything they need to know in English while preserving their unique cultural identity.

I make my classroom a place where all my students feel safe.

I make my students stand, placing their hand over their heart to say the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag, One Nation Under God, because we live in the United States of America.

I make them understand that if they use the gifts they were given, work hard, and follow their hearts, they can succeed in life.'

(He paused one last time, then continued.)

'Then, when people try to judge me by what I make, with me knowing money isn't everything, I can hold my head up high and pay no attention because they are ignorant...
You want to know what I make?

I MAKE A DIFFERENCE. What do you make, Mr. CEO?'

His jaw dropped, he went silent. ~~~~~~~~~~ *

mental problems, challenges and solutions

When we hear of mental problems we usually picture someone hitting his head against the wall or we think of a phobia or something else seriously wrong with the mind of a person.

Well I have to admid, I do feel a little spiritual today - have been reading a bit about yoga and that sort of thing... - and when some IT-problems came to my attention I all of a sudden remembered the story of a lady who had had very anoying problems with her PC. Nobody handled it for her, but after she had reviewed some mental issues, all of a sudden the PC was fixed and would work from now on!

Which reminded me of something a friend of mine said years ago:
"The world will still be the same, other people will still be the same, but by becomming one with yourself and by handling all your own personal issues, everything that you are having a problem with - including the outside world - will fall into place and you will be able to free yourself from those problems because you will have changed your point of view!" I have been wondering ever since how the heck that should be possible that I alone with my mental and spiritual powers could "manipulate" parts of the physical universe to such a degree without it actually been caused by physical means. It just sounds too phantastic - doesn't it?!

But the other day I had such an experience. The plumber was here, fixed something and then we had rusty pieces in the water ever since. - Big rusty pieces! Everybody saw and felt them. And none of the usual causes did apply. So I really couldn't figure it out and it kept upsetting me and the pieces became more and larger.
But then all of a sudden he mentioned a possible cause which actually made sense. And guess what? The next time I turned the water on, they were gone! Nothing had changed in the physical universe, he didn't unscrew anything, all we had had, was a little conversation between us.

And then I realized, how upset I actually had been about the matter and simular incidents before and when then there all of a sudden was a plumber, who didn't only do an honest job, but who also intellectually was willing to find the cause of our plumbing-problems, it all of a sudden disappeared: the desperation and frustration that I had had inside of me.
If you want, you can think of it as electrical impulses, as amounts of charged up particles flowing through both the physical univers and through metaphysical universes.

That charge can be re-arranged and directed and dissolved - if we want to. We just have to be aware of it and decide what to do and handle those negative influences that stop us from making the wrong and not-so-sane-choices. But it is possible and everybody can do it.
Mind over matter is a reality in everybody's life, whether we are aware of it or not.
But by becaomming aware of it and working with ourselves we can get to a causative point, which is much more fun than having to "endure" life the way that it finds you!

Here's an award, originally from Italy, but passed on to me by Jenny Ashey from Malaysia.
I would like to share it with all my fellow authors of this blog.
Thank you jenny for providing me with this very nice, stylish and validating award!

WHAT I LEARNED ON MY SUMMER VACATION...

During my visit to the state of Washington recently, my friend and I went out shopping...yes, we did! When we checked out, she had one item, I had two. When the clerk rang up my purchase she asked if I wanted a bag. It seemed a strange question to me, and I responded, that yes, I would like a bag. As we were leaving I commented to my friend that I found her question a little strange. Growing up in a small town, I had always been taught that all merchandise bought must be carried out in a bag...and that is where my thoughts STOPPED... My friend patiently and tactfully explained to me that there is a movement in Seattle to discourage folks from using the plastic store bags when possible. Well, of course!!! What a great idea. I have never liked the thought that many years after I am gone from this old world that my kmart, kroger, etc. bags will still be around for future generations to wonder about...to wonder why previous generations had been so careless and thoughtless and lacking any imagination . Now when I go into a store for an item or two, I think about that trip and turn down the bag...I can't tell you how righteous I feel!!! One less bag in circulation.

Yes, I have reusable bags, they are in my car, I even laid one in the front floorboard but yet, I don't ever seem to think of them till I am in the checkout lane.

Just recently Seattle wanted to tax each bag at .25 a bag, fought by the plastic bag companies, the attempt was voted down. Big business gets its way once again, at least for the time being. Its clear that Western states are years ahead of us here in the South. And I thank you, Marcia, for educating me once again! HAPPY SHOPPING !!!
